Health is very important. Food, exercise, rest and sleep keep us healthy. A healthy body is free of diseases. A healthy body has more ability to do work.

Food
Food gives us energy to do work. It helps us to grow. It helps to fight against germs. Germs cause diseases. We get our food from plants and animals.
Plants provide us with fruits, vegetables, cereals and pulses. Animals provide us with milk, eggs, ghee, fish and meat.
Some food makes our body strong. They are known as healthy food.
Exercise
Exercise keeps the body fit. It makes our muscles strong.
Rest and Sleep
Sleep is important to give rest to your brain. We should go to bed early and get up early.
Play
All work and no play make life boring. Playing is fun. It increases your hunger and helps you to grow.

Air pollution leads to problems like cough, headache, asthma, etc.

We can travel in space in a spacecraft.

Man has even gone to the moon in a rocket.
Neil Armstrong was the first man to land on the moon.

Sun is a huge ball of gases. It gives us heat and light.
It shines brightly during the day.

Animal Shelter
All animals need a home to live in. It protects the animals from heat, cold, rain and enemies. Some animals make their own homes. Some pet animals live in homes made by us.
Birds collect straw, twigs, leaves, etc. They join it and make their nest. They make nest mostly on trees, so that they remain safe from other animals like cat and dog.
