CHAPTER 1: OUR NEIGHBOURS

This is my house. I live here with my parents.
My friend, Raman, lives in the house next to mine.
My friends, Vikram and Kunal, live two houses away.
All of them are my neighbours.

Families, living in nearby houses, make a neighbourhood.
Children from my neighbourhood play together in the evening.

Our neighbours help us when we are in need of something.

They visit us when we are sick.
We sit and talk together.

We visit each other's house.
